Sooo three days ago my Japanese crush was pretty straight-forward. They asked me if I liked them.
I answered that I did, and my crush said he was very happy to hear that, and that it was mutual. 
We talked for a few hours by text message that day, and that was it. They didn‘t ask to date me, which was a relief because even though I like them, NO THANKS I already have two long-distance lovers (and there are several other major reasons) 
But like, is it normal for a Japanese person to be so straight-forward? 
My crush is usually a very sweet, shy, caring person. But they showered me with compliments, asked for pictures of me, audio messages etc. It was totally unlike him.
Today I downloaded Tandem to look for a Japanese language partner, and I got very lucky. I found a very nice Japanese lady that lives in the same city than me!
I am still focusing on vocabulary and writing kanji.
When I often come across a word, I add it on Bunpro.
These days, I mix up kanji very often when using Ringo-Tan. 
I guess I will have to consolidate the kanji I already know before learning new ones.

I don’t know about that, japanese or not, every person is unique, I think. Maybe when they saw their interest was reciprocical, they became less shy ?

Apart from that, I really like this app!
The feature to correct or comment a sentence is very handy
While I do agree with you, the dating culture over there seems very different. I hope we will avoid major misunderstandings thanks to honest communication

Yeah lots of women write down “NO ROMANCE” in their bio
But my female japanese partners are very nice!
Especially one that seems very ADHDy, she was SO excited when I told her I just listened to the japanese band she recommended in her bio

I finally finished my first manga, スーと鯛ちゃん
I feel very happy about this little milestone.
Overall it was a very cute story and I learnt a lot of very basic and useful vocabulary like 遊ぶ or まずい
I don’t think I will read the next volume tho.
I think I will try to read a manga a little bit harder.
I have my eyes set on 黒
The art is very beautiful and the story seems cute but a little dark. Just my flavor
- Ringo-Tan: finally got to level 15
Once I finish level 16, I will get back to studying new lessons on WK again. This way, I will be able to learn at the same time the kanji on WK and Ringo-tan
- Bunpro : I added lots of useful vocabulary I came across during my tandem convos or while reading manga
- Genki 1 :I will try to finish chapter 8 today, I’m 90% done with it already

I have started studying Genki’s chapter 9, so I am FINALLY studying unformal past verbal forms T.T
Since I see it A LOT on the manga I’ve been reading lately, I already have a good grasp of it.
So hopefully I will be quick to finish this chapter

I am having lots of fun with the manga of the BBC, and the other “members” are very nice and helpful

This afternoon I will go to a coffee shop to chat in Japanese with the teacher of the first association, マリア先生 (not her true name).
We haven’t decided on a place to meet, just the area, so I will try to look it up right now
And tomorrow at 7:30pm, I have my japanese class with まりこ先生 (again, not her true name).
I have memorized most of the vocabulary of the text the class was studying, so hopefully it will be easier than during my first class with her

I fell sick during two weeks. I’m all good now, but it was so bad I couldn’t to my daily reviews nor could I go to my weekly Japanese class.
And when I got better, I had to prioritize catching up on my web development course.
Obviously, my japanese reviews kept piling up, I had +900 on WK and probably thousands of reviews on Bunpro (I’m too afraid to check tbh).
But I am slowly catching up, it’s been 3 days and “only” 600 reviews remain on WK. Then I think I will do my Ringo-Tan reviews.
I thought I would have forgotten loooots of kanji and vocab after a month-long break, but my accuracy score is 85% (around 92-95% usually), so it’s not that bad!
