ChristopherFritz's Study Log

If I reduce the number of words for a kanji to a handful, this goes down to about an hour or two.

If I created one page like this every Sunday, I could potentially learn at least 50 kanji per year! (Potentially.)

Although I didn’t read nearly as much as I should have this weekend, I’m more than 10% of the way to my stretch goal at the end of January:

Whose bright idea was it for me to create another kanji page, this one with ten manga examples, starting an hour before my bedtime, knowing I’d be working on it for two hours? :mirror:

I feel I’m getting a better handle on recognizing these kanji, but that’s just recency bias. I saw a two-kanji word with 送 today and recognized it immediately. (I’m remembering the reading thanks to 葬送.) Just need to see how long-lasting this is, especially when I go through more kanji.

But for now, I originally planned to go to bed early, and I’m a tad over an hour late…
