Cherry-Pick Vocab Third-Party App

Is there a third-party app that lets you choose specific wanikani vocab to study and ignore the rest (for now, not forever)?

For example, in level 32. I want to only learn the vocab word 中華 (Chinese), but not the word 用心棒 (Bodyguard).

Workaround I thought of:  using wanikani reorder ultimate, one could just keep hitting reverse to see if they stumble upon the word they want. This is not very efficient though with a backlog of vocab in the hundreds. Other workaround would be to just use Anki for vocab that I want, but I would rather use Wanikani, since I have a life goal of finishing it eventually.

*Please note, I am not an advocate of what I am asking to do. I’m just short on time in learning Japanese and need to only learn the essentials for now. Maybe in the future when I have more time I will come back to finish.

if you dont hav emuch time, i would recommend skippping the wanikani vocab completely and then download a vocab core deck and
learn the words of which you already know all kanjis in anki or stuff like that. If you dont have time that may be more efficinet,

http://www.memrise.com/course/861672/kaniwani/

There are more just search wanikani. Also you can ‘ignore’ all the words you want and turn on only those you wish to learn.

Also I use https://www.renshuu.org/  and https://www.kaniwani.com/   These are very helpful sites. It’s the only way I can learn anything.

Hope this helps. ~frankiebluej
