Please let us burn words we already know, even before starting the WaniKani journey!
It’s so frustrating seeing words that you already know by heart appear on lessons/reviews.
Waste of time and energy. And it won’t affect the leveling speed because only Kanji is a factor.
I know that 長崎県 means (surprisingly!) Nagasaki Prefecture.
I’m shocked, shocked! Well, not that shocked…
Same for words like 頑張る、宇宙人、正解、and so many more.
I wish I didn’t need to waste so much time on so much vocabulary I already know, and I’m sure others feel the same.
Not the same obviously but can’t you just use advanced mode to avoid them? I guess if you’ve already done the lessons there’s no stopping them from showing up in reviews but you’ll avoid putting more into the rotation in the future at least
True I could do that but I like to see my lessons clear and clean.
I don’t want words to pile up in lessons and just ignore them even if I know them already.
Perfectionism? OCD? Call it whatever you want, I just want to clean my lessons and keep it nice and empty.
