Hello! Apologies if this info is already available somewhere, I tried searching around and couldn’t find it.
When you review burned items and get them right, I see that they are removed from your burn review pile. Do they ever come back for another review? I took a long break from WK at level 7 and decided to reset to level 5, but I’m finding that many items from previous levels have escaped my mind. I’m worried if I just review them once in the burn pile and they disappear forever, I might be in trouble.
They won’t come back, but also I wouldn’t worry about it: these early kanji are extremely common and will come back all the time everywhere. You’ll get plenty of opportunity to revisit them, and if you find that you really struggle with them you can always selectively unburn them to do a second pass.
That being said if you already reset to level 5, going all the way to level 1 would only cost you around one month of study assuming that you go full speed. If you want to restart from scratch after a long break, that could probably work too.

Ah if you’re a serial resetter then yes, it may be a good idea to force yourself to push forward instead of retreading the same path over and over again.
Although I do not recall why, or where I may have seen something about it, I thought that the way it worked was that if you used the Burned Items feature in Extra Study, that if you went through them all, then it would reset and you could go though them again. But I am not sure.
