It’s not a big difference to my first attempt, tbh. I went between 7-8 days per level then as well. It’s just a preference of mine. I am taking more time to get through the lessons though. Spreading them out across several days even.
That doesn’t sound ideal. Personally, I really need those vocab to learn the kanji. Taking longer to do them, would just make it harder to remember the readings for me, so vocab lessons I can defo binge a bit. As long as there are no real curve-ball items among them (like odd kun’yomi readings). then I slow down for a bit. ^^
My hands were trembling when it came to 一. I have been hurt by this one before… “not one” ringing in my ears. “Not one when it’s on blue background. It’s… ground!”
I’m not sure if that’s the case for others as well, but in my case I do exactly as you assumed: I look at how many review items are needed to get to an even number and stop doing my reviews at exactly that point to take the picture before going back to doing the rest of my reviews.
