Thanks for the present mom and dad! Did anybody else get lifetime for christmas?
I also got the Genki textbook, so just started learning grammar as well.

Meee! Trying to explain it to my parents was a little tricky though…
"You want to… learn for Christmas?.. Ooook… "

Congrats on your present also!

got it for christmas too
though otherwise i would have gotten it myself anyways, haha.
i also had a little explaining to do. Not sure they fully understand it yet.
But i think it’s a great present, it’s not a physical thing that lands in a corner, and you can enjoy it every day of your life.

Lifetime (along with Genki 1) are the Christmas presents I got myself  Most probably will finish with bunpro lifetime (on sale too).

Congrats! I’m still on the fence between continue monthly, buy lifetime for myself, buy A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar, or buy both and feel double guilty about it.

Buy monthly first, then Lifetime! With the proration it won’t seem as much!

Then I’ll have bought myself three gifts. That’s way too selfish.
I’m actually almost certainly going to buy both, I’m just waiting to see what my wife is going to buy herself first. We pretend to ‘exchange’ our gifts. We’re also both procrastinators.

You do realise that xmas was two or three days ago, right?! It’s too late for gifts!

My christmas lasts until I have to go back to work.
