My first book was 銭天堂, with help from the vocab spreadsheet from the [beginner book club](https://community.wanikani.com/t/%E9%8A%AD%E5%A4%A9%E5%A0%82-%E3%83%BB-zenitendou-the-mysterious-sweet-shop-beginner-book-club/35781). I think it’s a bit easier than 魔女の宅急便, and some of the stories are pretty good for a kid’s book.
