As someone who’s been grinding away at kanji for a while, I’ve been experimenting with ways to make stroke practice feel less tedious. I ended up hacking together a rhythm game where you draw the strokes to the beat, and I thought folks here might enjoy it.
The idea is simple: pick a song, then characters (N5-N1), and then start drawing strokes to the beat! The app gives live feedback on timing and shape, and scores you accordingly.
It’s free and open source. I’d love to hear what you think, whether it’s about the gameplay itself or any other ideas you have ^^
