Bad usage of "coat" mnemonic?

I had this same problem. I made a topic and it only has a few replies but maybe they will help.

Coat Mnemonic

Readings with ‘coat’ for the mnemonic こと 事 こた 答 こつ 骨 It’s been brought up in other threads but I didn’t see any tricks for how other people distinguished the readings in their minds. I’ve been trying to think of alternative mnemonics but can’t come up with anything myself. What mnemonics did you come up with for the こ* readings?

I’ve also started watching/reading この音とまれ! ( Kono Oto Tomare! Sounds of Life) which has really helped with the こと readings.
