Aug-Sep Japan Trip

I just had my Japan visa approved for 5 years, so more Japan trips to improve my Japanese coming soon.
But first trip would be next month, 30 days, including my IRONMAN Japan.
Thus, 22 days in Kamakura, 8 days in Hakodate, Hokkaido.

Main target: Japanese & IRONMAN self training, plus the race.
Secondary target: sightseeing.

I’ve been busy with work and my training the last 1-2 months, thus I’m stuck in Level 34, but also I got tons of reviews to complete. I will do these slowly and steadily.
But if I may ask, any recommendation related to Japanese language other than daily conversation to survive there?
Note:
For logistics and other things, I have a friend in Yokohama to advise me.
Any recommendation like app, links, youtube videos, and so on would be awesome and greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Am I understanding correctly, you have a 5 year Japan visa but don’t live here?

Man, they only gave me 3 years when I renewed mine after 6 years of living here with 2 years being married to a Japanese person.

Yes. I was surprised too. But it’s still 30 days max per visit as it is temporary visitor visa (tourist).
Even AU only gave me 3 years (first application was 1 year only), with similar other conditions.
I think if I use electronic passport (Indonesian btw), no need for visa, but max 14 days per visit, or something like that. I forgot.
So yeah, tourist visa, not so special. Hehe
