Audio Only app (and question on audio API)

Hello all!!
I’m terrible at listening, and i thought it would be nice to have a sort of flaming turtles, but instead of displaying the usual kanas, it only plays the audio and the user would input the translation (I realise that I do have the problem that I undertstand the sound, I recognise them, but going for the meaning takes quite a while!) Would there be any interest in this?

Also: I was trying to use offline audio (a but like flaming turtles). Does anyone has experience on this? I’m being able to set everything with online listening, but it would be neat to be able to use the app also when there’s no connection!

Thanks!!

Smouldering Durtles downloads the audio on demand normally and keeps it available offline.

You can also pre-download all audio for a particular level range if you want to be safe:

This can be done with Self-Study Quiz script (on the website), but don’t know of mobile apps, like FD or SD.

I’ve tried a little differently on Anki – not only vocab audio, but also sentence audio, on the front. Not using WaniKani contents, though. Also, it can be a trouble to find sentence with audio if I don’t want to use TTS (i.e. AI voice).
