Which one is used when? I have been reading watashi. I just saw atashi on floflo.moe

AFAIK, “atashi” is more casual and more feminine than “watashi”. You can hear it sometimes with your rougher anime characters, or if a “watashi” using girl is in distress, or with some feminine male characters.
Wrong reply button, oops. Also wanted to comment that I personally would bounce between the two depending on situation.
