Finally hit level 13! I had a great start on level 12, but it really kicked my butt towards the end. I kept either totally forgetting or mixing up Kanji in that level. For whatever reason, I had the HARDEST time getting ē€ to stick in my head for the first several times it came up. In the end, I maintained my current pace, but have still done nothing to actually improve it. Last week was a rough week for mental health in general, so Iā€™ll celebrate sticking with routines and maintaining pace. Doing my best to stay motivated and keep at it, but Iā€™m losing faith that Iā€™ll be able to keep up this level of effort through next December, especially when it doesnā€™t seem to be yielding much in pace improvement. Finally made it to Level 31! Took me almost 62 days to get through Level 30. Nothing particularly hard about Level 30. Itā€™s just for the past 2 months, Iā€™ve been working crazy hours. Things have finally slowed down a bit at work, so hereā€™s hoping Level 31 doesnā€™t take quite so longā€¦ ---

Cut a little over a day off of my level-up time for this one! Could have definitely saved another day or two, but the last few days before leveling up ended up being pretty busy, and that cost me a good amount of time. ---

Not a huge difference from last level, but it is lower, and this despite having a fair amount going on in life while working on this level. Iā€™ll take it! ---

Just reached level 25. This was my slowest level up so far, since I lost a lot of motivation the past few weeks. That said, Iā€™ve still been doing WK on a reduced workload and itā€™s helped me get back knto the groove. ---

Not quite my fastest level, but getting very close! I missed on Kanji on Thursday, but if I hadnā€™t, then I would have had the fastest level ever since level 1 (which I had already done 3 times by this runthrough) If I can keep this up, then hitting the target may not be a pipedream after all! But first I gotta keep the speed and the momentum moving, which has been a bit of a challenge lately. Hereā€™s hoping that level 16 is around the same pace as level 15! ---

Reached level 27 after about 40 days. WaniKani progress has slowed down even further, partially because of real life and partially from focusing more on reading and grammar. But my reading has improved a lot. Iā€™m almost done with the first volume of Claymore and sometimes, when I get lucky, I can read an entire page without looking anything up. Going on vacation to Kansai this Autumn, where Iā€™ll hopefully speak and listen a lot. Very excited! ---
