I’m not exactly sure when I stopped, I guess it was about 1 1/2 years ago.
I’m a bit worried that a lot happened in the development of WK and the addons. With that in mind, what advice would you currently give?
I’m not sure if I want to reset the lessons (at least not too far back) because I fear that this would make it more boring for me. I remember that the most important addons for me were the double-check addon (because I would often misclick) and the pitch info addon (because I wanted to learn that along the way). I might also switch to mobile.
I think the most important thing is to commit to at least 30min to 1hr of WaniKani at the same time every day. Instead of resetting, I would just spend a couple of days catching up on reviews and getting back into a solid routine before doing new lessons. Ain’t nothing to it, but to do it.
I totally second that!
It’s best to do a little bit every day than a lot once a week.
Also, it’s best to keep moving. If you can start doing reviews again without reset – great. If you find it too hard to muster the willpower to start digging through the review pile – then a reset might be a good idea. Not necessarily to level 1, but to the level you feel comfortable with. The important thing is to start moving again.
