Anime themed podcasts?

Recently I started listening to Kimetsu Radio and really enjoy their conversations.

I also noticed that I like to listen to voices I recognize from watching the anime previously.

Are you guys aware of any podcasts that are structured in a similar way? I would love to add more ones to my list.

Tried three different countries: Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo on my VPN. And all resulted this :frowning:

whoops sorry, should’ve mentioned that you need a Japanese VPN

When did Tokyo become its own city-state?

How is it structured?

And is it really a podcast if it’s a video on youtube? Wish they’d be on some podcast platform that is actually convenient to use: iOS Podcasts or RSS.

I chose Japan Tokyo but seems Google knows I’m not in Japan.

I downloaded the eps and uploaded then to Pocketcasts

oh I guess I worded it poorly. I acually meant podcasts with anime as main topic were the VA’s of said anime act as hosts ^^

There’s a lot of fansubs of them on Youtube. (Of course, you could minimize the window or whatever so you’re not tempted to read the subs instead of listening to the language.)

I found this site http://www.onsen.ag/ where today at least there is a 僕のヒーローアカデミア episode you can listen to. I think there’s a way to access the archive of previous episodes as well

Edit: Oh yeah and also these

Got this for Strike the Blood. TBH I’m probably the last remaining fan of this series but just in case :man_shrugging:

It is not quite a podcast, but there the Hanae Natsuki Youtube channel. He speaks pretty fast and it is great practice if you try to understand what he says.

I remembered him because you mentioned Kimetsu Radio and he is the VA of Tanjiro.

There are a ton of these anime web radio shows where the hosts are the VAs. Just google for [anime name] and ラジオ and they should pop up. It can be hard to find backlogs sometimes but there’s often at least a few eps floating around various websites. Some VAs also have their own personal shows. Here’s one for the Haikyuu anime http://www.j-haikyu.com/anime/radio/

I started watching his stuff recently and quite enjoyed it.
