Where do you find this setting? It seems I can’t find it

You can find it here:

I suck at typing so anki mode is the way to go for me.

Also it saves time since I have almost 200 daily reviews. That’s the only thing I set on.

The undo button is a necessity on the phone. Just keep yourself accountable and don’t let yourself abuse it.

I’m having the issue where background tasks are not synced… Will I lose those if I flush ? Or will they be recreated ?

You will lose them.

I highly recommend using the automatic sync on open feature, doing it manually only is silly.

I never do that manually, It’s always automatically, but sometimes somehow it gets stuck like that.

I tried enabling the sync over mobile data and restarting the app, but it didn’t work. In the end I had to restart the phone itself.

I also have a bug sometimes when I finish a review session: the app just “forgets” the session. The items remain “to-review”, and nothing is sent to the server. Redoing the session doesn’t change anything. Again, only restarting the phone solved the issue.

Opened a pull request with a fix for new stuff added to earlier levels making the home page all cluttered when you have the level progress enabled
e.g.

Hmm, I’ll take a look at - I honestly can’t remember if Flaming Durtles had the same issue, or if it’s just more pronounced now with the additional vocab added.

Either way, I should think it possible to add a selectable maximum row length there, just may have to bear with me in terms of tinkering time

Flaming Durtles does it too

Cheers buddy - I’ve got both of them on my Android test device, but I’ve A) left that at home and I’m away for a week and B) I’m not high enough level to notice after my last reset, haha

It’s so pretty

I think this functionality is essentially a port of an old version of this script:

The newer version has settings to deal with this, so you could look into adapting some of those. (Because smouldering durtles does not have enough settings yet of course)

I added it as an option to include only X number of levels below your current level since that seemed to be the obvious fix for it.
I think it wasn’t really much of an issue before but they’re reordering stuff a decent amount these days haha.

TBH I don’t want to lose that. So don’t remove it arbitrarly, please.
Kana vocab doesn’t appear too, I would like to change that.

I’m sorry, I totally missed that you’d submitted a PR, not an issue :man_facepalming:t2:

I’ve had my six year old 24/7 for the past week because of the summer holidays and so my brain is mush - I’ll get some time early next week to check it over and merge it. Thanks for taking the time to make the addition

No intention to limit it, if people like it - taking a quick look at the work @Cammymoop has done, it’ll be a toggle preference to change the behaviour at all, and even then it’ll allow for selecting from 0 to 60 previous levels to show :+1:t3:

Kana vocabulary is treated as vocabulary for the purposes of displaying progress bars - to do otherwise would create three bars per level, which would be too much, in my opinion. I did attempt to reclassify those items back as kana-vocab once the browse page opens after tapping on a bar, but I didn’t have much luck and so it’s on the long term list. They are displayed though, just within the vocab list.

This is amazing! I don’t know how I haven’t seen it until now :astonished:

Thanks.

It doesn’t, but I wasn’t clear.
In my lessons I currently have うん, a level 4 kana only vocabulary.
It doesn’t appears in the progress bars. I can see it in the browse screen though.
Captures to follow.

うん as initiate status

No items for level 4 progress bar

Browse display it correctly though.

Ah, thank you for clarifying.

I suspect this is because the logic about whether to display the vocab bar for a level is tied to whether there are any incomplete vocab items for that level. At this stage, it’s not looking at kana vocab a vocab yet.

That should be easy enough to remedy, I think.
