Adding emotion to Japanese

I’m really struggling to wrap this around my head. If in Japanese, words can have a different meaning based on pitch, how does one make a word more emotional without changing the meaning of the word?

Here’s a good video on that. It’s about intonation. You can change the intonation of the sentence without changing the pitch relationships between sounds. If you need more explanation on pitch accent itself, he has videos on that too.

Thank you so much
