That’s right we’d aim for 10th July start which gives a month for people to get hold of physical copies who want them.
First job is to set up a home thread for the book, to start promoting the club and gathering a group together. You can use someone else’s home thread as a template. Once we have a thread we can ask people if 10th July is late enough or if people would prefer an extra week to get hold of the book.
Did someone say shogi? I could not make the current book club, but this is probably a better timing since I have now also started Genki (though still sporadically). Hope life permits it and that I can join!
So, first things first! Is it July 10th suitable as a starting date for それでも歩は寄せてくる (you can find the home thread here)? It’s exactly one week after the end of Teasing Master Takagi-san, but we can also start one week later!
Which book are you asking about? Probably best asking within the thread for that book. You may find more info on buying the book in the opening post in that thread.
I’m in the USA; I don’t know if they ship to other countries. I’ve never bought anything from them before so I can’t really vouch for them. I figure I’ll give it a try and worse case I’ll get a digital copy at the last minute.
If it gives you any peace of mind, Kinokuniya is very reliable for ordering Japanese books. I actually have to pop into their store soon to pick up some stuff I ordered.
That’s good to know. I have high hopes because I really like the idea of a manga store with physical locations in my country. I just wish I lived anywhere near one of those locations .
Oh thanks! This worked for the US. I just finished Takagi-san and wanted to join the next club but for the life of me, couldn’t find a physical copy. Thanks so much!
