冬の読切パレード
So the six yomikiris in this issue are all from manga newbies, which is cool! But personally I didn’t get super into any of them. I thought Lefty Was Here looked pretty interesting, but couldn’t focus on it very well because I was itching to continue reading the series, which is a bit of a downside to reading in the past … because you already have the next issue it’s hard to focus on a short story when you really want to know what happens next in the series.

眼鏡のふたり by 佐久間 葉 (さくま よ)
I liked this one a lot. For one thing, it’s cute. But more than that … it’s the first story in Harta I’ve seen that even obliquely references the pandemic? I just thought it was pretty interesting, and I liked how it focused on one tiny detail of life during the pandemic.
I wore contacts the whole time because I can’t handle that many things on my face at the same time, but also because I could not handle the fogging issue.

I like seeing Murasaki’s normal high school life and her normal high school friends!
ホテルメッツァペウラへようこそ by 福田星良 (ふくたせいら)
Wow, that was unexpected! Yikes! (Need to know what happens next … 
)
生き残った６人によると by 山本和音 （やまもとかずね）
I like any chapter where Riri gets to be a badass, and this was one of those. 
アビスアジュールの罪人 by 冨 明仁 (とみ あきひと)
A new character gets introduced! And the first one with legs! (As noted by the Harta editors at the beginning, lol.)
I like Yuki a lot, and I liked this chapter a lot, but I also feel disappointed that (aside from the main character, maybe) it seems like female personalities in this manga tend to be “boobs + generic girl stuff like not liking slugs”. Still really enjoy the art though.

Good chapter. 
No particular comments other than that Shiina’s shorts continue to be absurdly short. 
夜の名前を呼んで by 三星たま (みつぼしたま)
Oh man. Things are getting really interesting!
This one feels like it’s filling the hole that Laika no Hoshi left when it ended … you know … the detail-oriented drawing with lots of star and flower patterns all over, the emotional and magical storyline … lots of cuteness and also lots of darkness…
It’s really good.
ことり文書 by 天野 実樹 (あまの みき)
Short chapter, was over before I knew it. Super cute again! I really like this one.
