Hey everybody! It’s week 10. Yes, that’s right, the big 1-0.
Haha, I’ve been using Quartet since August last year, and I only noticed today that they recommend the DoJG books as a resource
A must have reference for learners and teachers alike
Quartet is from the same publisher (Japan Times) so they have an incentive to recommend their own stuff
Ah, didn’t notice that haha, makes sense. Maybe they’ve heard of how good Genki is too!
But… are they wrong, though?
edit:
It’s week 11! It’s our last week for K - M…
JUST KIDDING This week (12) is the actual last week for the M entries!
(I’m only slightly dyslexic, guys.)
we have basic, intermediate dict… just out of curiosity is there an “advanced” one?
There is. It’s red. We just haven’t reached it yet.
Though I’d say that since I bought the Advanced volume, the most common reason that I’ve ever picked it up is because it’s the only one with an index that covers all three volumes…
This week, we’re on the to なにぬねのs.
Find entries for N here.
Ok

Sorry, this is actually the intermediate volume club, no romaji here /s

I cannot believe you found a Mork and Mindy gif. Wow, the internet really has everything.
Thanks so happy to still be reading this, I keep meeting grammar points in the wild after I read them in the dictionary, that I didn’t even know were grammar points (like みせる). So nice to be able to feel progress in reading comprehension!
Great, really enjoying reading along and making good use of the book after it sat on my shelf for so long!
Are we tired of this joke yet?
If not, enjoy it for one more week (that’s week 17!) as we finish out the にs!
Week 19 begins with a new thread:
Sweet! Thanks for keeping this up!
Thank YOU for keeping up with the club!
