You know what? I would’ve been mad about the amount of reviews today but the alternative was scrolling youtube.com so I’m okay that I spent 1.5h today for once xddd

yep, I did the naturalization test today ^^
it was really funny, because just before the start of the test they asked us to turn off mobile phones off and leave them in their custody, where they wrapped them in envelopes signed with a person’s name and left them at the reception desk, how cute was that xdd
I haven’t prepared myself that well for the test, but I did two mock ones just before the exam and came with 28/33 and 31/33 respectively, and since 17/33 passes, I wasn’t worried at all going into the test
SO I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BUT I OPENED THE TEST AND EVERY QUESTION I ENDED UP SECOND GUESSING I GOT WRONG xddd
I still most likely passed, but there’s something about a test environment, whether it’s naturalization test or JLPT or something that makes my head go empty and my thoughts fly away xdd
So two of the funniest questions I messed up the funniest way, there was one question about the acronym CSU that stands for a party name, Christlich-Soziale Union, well I marked it as Christlich-Süddeutsche Union for some reason I can’t even identify xddd
Another one, there have been two questions about a holiday wE LITERALLY JUST HAD, Pfingsten, and I was like “oh yeah thats probably german day of rememberance or something” 
xdddd
Oh well, now waiting 8-10 weeks for my results xddd

Gotta be Berlin because it says “CAPITAL” in the background, im tellin yee xdd
In the meantime, I started looking into C1 exams for the language and they’re really, REALLY long, like 5 hours long, they take an entire day to pass.
There are two big ones, telc and Goethe and both of them require the same components: reading, listening, writing and speaking xddddd
Although I can probably bullshit my way through with speaking and listening is pretty nice for me in German, reading makes me lose attention very quickly as soon as I spot words I don’t recognize and writing............
it would be a great time to start practicing it, but oh well xddd
So after the classes I went to the biggest bookstore in the town and started looking for reference grammar drills to try to dose them on a day-per-day basis and…
…this one is thicker than a manga magazine.
And it’s just a grammar drill book xdddd

I’m doing the same thing on Bunpro right now, this is just an analogue form. On one hand it would be cool to pursue my German to really get to the spotless level, on the other…?
Isn’t it just sick that I can learn a language by interacting with it and partcipating in debates and being a part of it rather than by doing grammar drills from a 500-page book?
Except that it takes a very long time
And my accent doesn’t improve xdd
And I internalize some mistakes not correcting them by being lazy on purpose xddd
And on German classes today, talked about occupation, and how people grow into the jobs they pick, or maybe rather they pick jobs based on their characteristics. It might be a chicken and an egg situation, so which one is the correct one?
We discussed it for a while today, but I liked one tangent we made that once people notice they start growing into their job, sometimes they overcompensate in the opposite direction and start playing heavy metal not to seem so stiff or start doing art not to seem so soulless xdd
Probably can relate, except I’m not doing those things yet ^^

fate/stay night was trying to convince me they only have those in japan bUT NOO THEY HAVE THEM THERE IN BERLIN TOO
but yeah, very long and very exhausting and very rewarding day, I wish I could pendulum swing my German a bit further, but it’s 1:43am, night is the worst time to attempt making big changes to your life xdd
