Monthly update #9 time!
Turns out looking for work sucks more than I thought it would. I often find myself drained of motivation for lessons and reviews, so it’s another slow month for me. I’m still stuck at level 8 - for some reason, some of the vocabulary I’ve been given I’m finding really hard to commit to memory.
In other news, I wanted to try and get some practice other than reading so over August in my spare time I’ve been playing Persona 5 Royal with the Japanese voiceover. It’s very motivating to catch words and phrases that you actually know, and the game is fantastic.
Earlier in the month I’d been slacking off and got back to find my biggest backlog yet of 486 reviews! I managed to get back to 0 over a few days, but I’ve left it too long again and have about 200. I really need to get back into the habit of studying little and often, so that’s my goal for this month. I’m also going to set myself the target of being at level 10 by my October update, so I’ll see you all next time!
