Read an informational text in Tobira about γγγ₯γ‘. Those are the responses used in Japanese to signal the speaker that youβre listening. They often contain contractions: for example γΎγγ§γγ has apparently a shortened version of γΎγγ£γγ. It hadnβt occured to me until now that obviously the spoken version of a language would have contractions of parts of sentences and not only full ellipses.
