Definitely! For me it’s the right mix of difficulty and entertainment. Most of their content that I’ve watched is still a bit of a stretch for me, but I can mostly follow along, and the way that it feels improvised and off-the-cuff makes it a lot less dry than a lot of the channels that feel so slow and intentionally understandable that it’s off-putting to me. ---

#### Week of Listening [August 10 - 16] 🥝 - x3 youtube subscription vids - around 63 minutes - x2 youtube algo recs - around 9 minutes - x1 OVA - around 49 minutes Week total = around 121 minutes Challenge total = 1,063 minutes Not hit my goal this week, still feeling unmotivated with listening - it never feels like it goes much of anywhere like reading does. Got some longer vids in this past week though and also hit the 1,000 minute mark for the challenge. ---

I too find it a much more difficult activity than reading. That being said, I have a classmate who understands Japanese so well and speaks in such a natural, fluid manner, without having lived in Japan. I’ve always been very impressed by her. I learned earlier this year that she’s been watching Japanese dramas consistently since high school, which made me realize that oh, right, she’s been listening to Japanese for a long time and it shows. ---

Back into my normal routine! I am home from my vacation, and getting back into the swing of things. I had some chores to take care of after work today, so I listened to some more Japanese Super Immersion while I took care of them. I got some good listening in on Saturday as well, but I was so wiped from travel and such that I didn’t post anything here about it! Looking forward to re-establishing routines and getting back into the swing of things!! ---
