Ahh!! that makes sense, thank you! ![]()
I remember I had the same question when I read that. You can type them on an ime by typing まる ◯
This is the part with all the facts about the Andes, right? I think it’s bullet points. Like
- In the andes, blahblahblah
- As for volcanic activity, blah blah
Again, thanks!!! Really appreciate it
Scene 66
Well… that scene with the birds was gruesome
decision
Oh dear I’m with you two. The cold doesn’t feel unbearable yet, but after walking for a while it would be a shame if we couldn’t start a fire or something
I’ll blame forgetting on turkey time
decision
I say we make gloves out of some of the fabric from the jumper or something, we don’t want to play around with frostbite. That’s bad news if we start to lose fingies.
oops, I forgot
, I’m glad you reminded me so I call everyone tomorrow!!!
decision
nice, bonus points on how to make the glove. I was in jungle mode and thinking of putting some leaves together
I probably wouldn’t survive without the group ![]()
I will read today! About to be off early because of the holiday.
stage P
Funny, we came full circle. I went on and read scene 72 and it is indeed ゲームオーバー. Those scenes are funny because they also admonish you for making the wrong decisions. This one points out that as soon as you feel a headache, you should go down, and points you to the info page on altitude sickness.
stage Q
Good job not taking the condor’s food. I’m less afraid of the condors and more afraid of eating possibly bad meat and getting sick.
And- oop. checked scene 49. Good thing we didn’t go that way.
decision
Definitely we need to make some gloves.
I’m sure we have some other fabric or something in our backpack. We don’t need icicles for fingers.
Welcome to Stage S of
極寒の雪山 Escape

We’re wandering around for quite some time, sorry! and when we stop to tie shoes etc, we set down our gloves. ![]()
whoosh! Oh no! We lost a glove! It doesn’t feel too bad but we think better off just moving on. Let’s find a way to get covered up and keep our hands warm ![]()

I have read the pages for Stage S, but I don’t know what to choose. Both options seem good to me. Can I vote for both options? ![]()

I think the deer know their way around the mountain so I think I want to follow them.
Scene 45
The glove is made from an old thermal t shirt right? The sketch looks like plastic wrap and is really confusing!
decision
I’m not sure what to do either. Are deer famous for leading one to water? That’s not one I’ve heard. I would have thought if we follow they will seek shelter in a forest or something. But I guess on even ground, at least we know following in their tracks is safe… so I’m with you Marifly, let’s see what they can show us
decision
Since I’ve seen deer in real life recently I’ll take these deer as a good sign and say to follow them. At least these deer don’t eat meat so they probably won’t fight us for food or anything like that. They do spook easily though so we don’t know what they’ll lead towards.
The glove thing was pretty cool, tied together with a rubber band to keep it tight, but yeah the picture makes it look transparent. We don’t exactly have access to a sewing machine up here.
I can’t read more yet because I’m trapped by something worse than the snowy mountains
decision
pretty late for this one, but I agree that we shoudl follow the deer! ![]()
you’re not late, in fact, we’re all on time, yay! The crew is assembled, I’ll post Stage T in a moment so we can go chase ![]()
Welcome to Stage T of
極寒の雪山 Escape

We rummage around in our pack and find an old shirt to make a glove. Not too shabby, that was definitely a good idea. Getting moving again, we notice all this walking around is making us thirsty. A movement catches your eye… looks like some deer in the distance. Let’s follow them and see is we can find some water, they must get to some eventually

I think we have time to boil the water and be thirsty for 5 more minutes, our hero is a bit lazy, huh?
Who knows what animal was walking through it
Decision
I don’t trust water that’s not moving. A river or stream, sure, but water standing still in a lake/pond/pit? Nope. If we get a stomach bug in the mountains, it’s game over for sure. Waiting 5 minutes to boil the water is our only choice.
