I made it to Ch. 22 of Atelier Vol. 4 and I am officially caught up to the book club 
I’m still slightly behind in FMA Vol. 2 and currently on schedule with Cardcaptor Sakura, so I think I will work on those two book clubs next. As for non-club picks, I’m in the first third of 彼に依頼 and on the edge of my seat to start Frieren

I finished 蹴りたい背中 and it was fine 
I don’t think it’s a bad book, it just wasn’t really for me. I left my review of it hoping to give enough detail that the right readers find their way to it. I suspect younger people and/or people who enjoy coming-of-age type novels will enjoy it.
I haven’t been tracking my hours but that puts me at 140 pages so far today. I’m breaking to run some errands and am hoping for at least 60 more pages this evening.

My Goals: Read through Levels S, 0, 1, and 2 of the free graded readers on tadoku. This would be 89 readers…which seems like a lot as I type it out, but I will just try to get as far as I can.

I hopped around between a few volumes during this session. I keep hoping to find one that grabs my attention and won’t let it go, but I find my mind drifting every so often to wonder about another series. Unlike the last readathon, I haven’t gotten out of the house at all today so that might be contributing to my restlessness.
I read another chapter of Atelier Vol. 4 (now only one more chapter from the end!), got a week ahead in the Cardcaptor Sakura book club, and read ~30 pages from 彼に依頼. Because I’m so close to the end of this Atelier volume, I may go ahead and finish it

Finished ヒナ, which now puts me at ~23k characters. If I tried to read 23k characters from a book I would die. Gonna start another manga now but I don’t expect to be able to finish it.

Sooo this turned out to be correct 
I took my physical copy of FMA Vol. 2 outside and happily read more than half of it in one sitting. The golden afternoon light is extra inspirational, I think 
I feel extra rejuvenated for my next session

calling it a night here at 5 hr 30 min. Finally finished Tokimeki Memorial 4 GS! It was the first Japanese game I ever bought so its a huge accomplishment, although it didn’t leave room to finish any other manga like I was hoping, but I am glad to have another game to add to the complete pile! Thanks @taiyousea for creating these threads and catch you all for the next one

I didn’t end up doing as much as I thought I would yesterday, but in total I read 99 pages of この嘘がばれないうちに in roughly 2.5 hours. I like the book, but I got a bit distracted by other stuff 
. While my part of the challenge is done, I’m fun seeing everyone’s reading updates!

Finally, my first finishes of the challenge!! 
After my bout of going out in the fresh air, I knocked out the final chapter of Atelier Vol. 4 and the second half of 彼に依頼 I’m motivated by the urge to beat my numbers from the last readathon, but I’m getting close so I might only have one or two solid sessions left in me.

Me too, and it‘s too dark to read my physical books so I read some manga on my phone.
Reading never fails to motivate me to study more kanji, as I see how my studying so far have made it possible to read what I can read and I also see how further studying could make it possible to read what I can’t read yet 
Seconding the Atelier recommendation, the fluff worms are peak cuteness.
Also @taiyousea as soggy said for the date I used an option within the text editor here on the forums. If you click the date button, by default it just shows up as a date, but you can change the time and add a second time stamp to describe a time range.
Alrighty it’s 5 am, I‘ve been awake for 2 hrs, hopefully I can fall back asleep now.

I just noticed that your achievements aren’t on the results chart yet. Do you want to add them yourself or would you prefer if someone else added them? (I can imagine there are some maths lovers here who would love to do it if you don’t want to) ^^
