Annnd we’re back! 30 more minutes of HP for +4 pages. I’m noticing when I binge these reads in the same day I get faster with every reading session. Right now I’m at 3 and a half hours, so I can definitely make 4, but don’t know if I’ll push it to 5.

I’m pretty curious how long I could’ve held out if I were reading novels only. These manga were generally easy and varied, which probably both helped and hurt me and my ability to concentrate and understand, especially near the end.

Yeah manga is a lot easier for stamina, I felt so relieved when I was reading Naruto earlier haha. Are you planning on reading more volumes of HP after Chamber of Secrets?

Valid. I’m weighing whether to read 3 and 5, or maybe 2, 3, and 5. The fifth one is actually my favorite but it’s so long. After I finish the first one I may try and start a native Japanese book in that level range before I return to the series 
Alright, final update: 25 more minutes for +5 pages of ふしぎ駄菓子屋。My most unfocused reading session so far, I can tell I’m done for the day. I kept reading one sentence then being like has anyone replied to me on the forums yet?

So I think I’ll participate tomorrow although I won’t have the entire day. I’m going to try to read all of 蹴りたい背中 | L31 (it’s only 140 pages) and I might also either read some more of books I have in progress or be irresponsible and start something new

I’m super impressed by 39 pages of prose, I have such a low stamina level for novels/prose that I can’t do more than 5-7 pages in a day. It’s cool to see what everyone’s strengths are!

It’s almost evening here, and between cooking and other tasks, I’ve read for about 2 hours. That puts me at 80 pages read so far (その嘘がばれないうちに pages 22-102). I hope to do another hour or two later in the day.

Started late yesterday (did one hour) & finished today (one hour) so 2 hours in 24 hour period.
Read 64 Tadoku graded readers - started from S level & read all Level 0 & got around halfway through Level 1.
A little on the boring side, but I’ll read through all of them to practise. Did as they said - didn’t stop to do look-ups
