Welcome to Stage M of :ocean: :spouting_whale: 太平洋を泳ぎぬけ - Escape from the Pacific Ocean!

panic breaks out about the scurvy :woman_zombie: it started as a rumour and then spread like wild fire:man_zombie: when will we start losing our teeth? My back itches, is it starting now? :cricket:

feeling as if our joints are stiffening, already setting into the early disease stages, we overcome some concerning lethargy, and we make our way to the water to tear into some seaweed before it’s too late :seedling::ocean:

:compass: See you at scene :nine::nine::white_exclamation_mark: ( also read 100, 76 )

I have watched enough Discovery channel documentaries to know you don’t mess with sea snakes :joy:

Yeah, who in their right minds sees a snake and goes, “oh, he’s probably harmless”? He may be, but I trust our protagonist’s snake identification skills as much as I trust their plant ones.

Loving these responses. Yeah, I’m also for trusting Discovery channel over our protagonist’s odd sense of safety and panic :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

We need to stop chasing potential food sources for a second we don’t need omega 3 right now lmao

AND STAY AWAY FROM THE SNAKE

Exactly, were the crickets and seaweed not enough??

Welcome to Stage N of :ocean: :spouting_whale: 太平洋を泳ぎぬけ - Escape from the Pacific Ocean!

We get the seaweed easy peasy! But! new panic - the seaweed might not taste good enough on its own and we get distracted hunting for fish. Is it insatiable hunger or a misplaced healthy food obsession? Just when we’re about to throw caution to the wind in the name of omega 3 we come to our senses. No! Avoid the snake! Hopefully team members on side quests are doing something more important for our collective survival!

let’s get back to base, chew on some seaweed, and see if we can come up with a new plan

:compass: See you at scene :five::three::white_exclamation_mark: ( also read 62 )

?? Not sure what you mean, sorry!

the also read 62 points to 61 or was it intentional?

Oh I see what you’re saying. The text in scene 53 references 62 as info, so I guess the info belongs to scene 61 but maybe other scenes point to it like this one!

Well seeing that the small one is a puffer fish, let’s not eat that… :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

spoiler-adjacent commentary about the previous other path

I love how in our text it’s like ただし、よほどのことがないかぎり、かまれることはない but I couldn’t help but notice when I was reading 62 that we died to a snake bite in 61
Like, book, you’re being awfully flippant about this :sweat_smile:

Insider knowledge, I’m going with you!

I was thinking, catch the biggest thing around, this kid is clearly starving and on a rampage until we feed him

previous path

 yeah I was really doubting my interpretation of that sentence and I looked at that scene, too

Welcome to Stage O of :ocean: :spouting_whale: 太平洋を泳ぎぬけ - Escape from the Pacific Ocean!

After the snake fiasco, we all scattered :hear_no_evil_monkey:and heading back, our hero still wants to create a balanced dish with this seaweed. Time to go fishing :fishing_pole: we look around at what’s swimming :tropical_fish: :fish: :blowfish: well let’s fill our bellies with something big that is hopefully not poisonous

I don’t think either of these choices were very good, so I kinda just picked one.

Also, I’m starting to think that protagonist might have an anxiety disorder. :joy:
