Yuru complaining the magic summoning hole is blocked by garbage made me laugh both in the anime and here - it’s such a petty complaint lol
Right and Left using archaic speech makes me grateful for the furigana.
Oh, so that’s what they mean by つがい - a pair.
Well, if you want to watch the anime, with this reading we’ve just hit the end of the first episode. 
What’s archaic about their speech in this chapter?
I guess I meant them using あるじ instead of ぬし, which is the reading I was familiar with. The anime was influencing my expectations 
Nice monsters’ classification on p. 61! Didn’t know that there’s a word for things like yeti or chupacabra (cryptid).
Vocab is killing me too. I think on my first reading I just got the gist of what’s going on and run with it. Now when I’m filling in the vocab list there’s a lot of words that I don’t know. Well, I can’t fit more reading into my day and I’m too lazy for anki 
Just finished this week! Definitely some new vocab for me, as well as learning grammar the hard way haha. Super cool ending though. A lot of plot hooks already, too! Can’t wait to see where the story goes.
Went through all of chapter 1 this week because I didn’t want to split it up
Chapter 1/Week 3
Man what an opening chapter. Absolute rollercoaster from start to finish. The way you start off thinking this is a historical/fantasy world and then are hit with the sudden revelation that no, this is in the modern day just as everything kicks off is so fun. Then you have some fun action with the girl who starts chomping people in half with her power (seems like we’re operating on Stand logic - only certain people can see them). Love the design of that ツガイ
Then there’s the question of who the アサ that ユル knew in the village was if the アサ who showed up is the real one? And what did she take from the fake(?) アサ? Also what was fake(?) アサ’s duty? And what is the purpose of keeping ユル isolated from the modern world? Going to be interested to get some answers on these questions
Also seeing more of ユル’s ツガイ, since we only had a brief flash of them this time
Read this week as well, but I definitely need to check the vocabs and read it again before moving forward. Sooo many new vocabs, the bar seemed higher than Chapter 1
