I totally agree, I read the second chapter and it’s already full of more dialogue that’s a lot easier to read than these whimsical garden descriptions lol.
If there’s one part I struggle to understand, it’s the part about the bell. I get that there’s a bell and that it rings when Kiki flies too low; I just don’t get how it’s supposed to do that. Is there a string she trips?
I found that confusing as well, I guess that she just grazes the crest of the trees and that’s enough to get the bells to ring.
Right, but like by the time the bells are ringing it’s a bit too late.
Too late for what? The bells aren’t for warning Kiki that there’s a tree in her way - they’re to let others know that she’s gotten herself entangled in a tree again and needs rescuing.
Oooh. That does make more sense.
If I were a villager, I’d be super annoyed. Think about the racquet the bells would make every time there’s a windy day.
it reads more to me that its for warning kiki that she’s flying too low so she doesn’t continue downward or crash (because of the situation where she was distracted and received a few bumps on her knees for her troubles)

My bad guys, I don’t know where my head has been this week. I’ll make sure the threads get made on time from now on…Good luck on chapter 2! I thought it was pretty cute and I’m loving all the dialogue, it really makes it go faster.

I was wondering as well! I was seeing a lot of people struggling with chapter 2 so I wanted to ask if we’d like one more week to finish chapter two?
I’m about halfway through chapter 2. It’s going to be a slow go for me, best that the group not wait on my behalf.
Blazing progress aside, the content is a lot of fun. Each sentence is its own little reward.
I’m complaining a lot but I did finish chapter two! I’m not running out of things to read with all the other clubs in committed to however, so I’m fine waiting longer for chapter 3.
I did already go through chapter 2 recently, but don’t mind waiting if other people feel they need the time
