I closed the poll, looks like one week break it is! So we will continue this Saturday January 18th.
I think I will be able to finish vol 4 this week, and hopefully manage to finish the weekly readings earlier than Saturday morning :muscle:
If anyone wants one more week, please speak up! As @simias said, I am sure people wouldn’t mind waiting one more week, if more can join us instead :grin:

By one of those funny coincidences in life, I had been reading Dragon Ball volume 3 just this weekend and that has some very strong parallels with this week’s reading - it’s basically also a bunch of very young kids going through some very harsh training. Although Dragon Ball obviously leans more on the comedy side whereas FMA comes with a bit more profound contemplation.

The masked man was pretty well played, I thought. The whole chapter I was thinking that surely something was up with him, but I didn’t see the reveal coming. :smile: Maybe I should have. It did strike me a little strange that the brothers got away from him every time and Sensei seemed a bit too unworried about their survival. Should have known there was a chaperone :slightly_smiling_face:

I wouldn’t mind waiting a bit more, but I’m also fine with starting the next volume. I’ll be gone for a few weeks for vacation soon tho, so I won’t be able to host the threads. Also, keeping the current pacing is fine for me!

I actually started reading Volume 7 on autopilot, but I’m happy to pause to wait for Jiell to return (I hope everything is ok @Jiell :pink_heart:) or for you guys to catch up.
