I was doing my reviews, and for the vocabulary meaning of 見る I put “to watch”. To my surprise, this was marked as incorrect! However, when I looked in the Context section, I could literally see this:
Generally watch TV would be 観る, which is the same verb with a different nuance. But it’s not wrong, they just don’t add all the possible meanings to every entry

テレビを見る and テレビを観る actually have a slightly different connotation. The former is pretty neutral but the latter is more like, watching something of consequence or watching something with directed attention.
