Don’t think I’ve ever seen a ditto mark used quite like this in Japanese, i.e. repeating something from the previous line, like in English, rather than duplicating the previous character (though I’m willing to bet Chris has an example all ready to produce from earlier in this very manga that I’ve forgotten about).
I’m assuming, from the fact that it’s in parentheses, that it’s repeating the parenthetical comment from above (that is, it’s also leftovers from last night).
Nope! First occurrence I have for this series. And no occurances of 〃 in any other series I’ve read. Unless there was one that Mokuro didn’t pick up.

How has it only been a year? Haven’t we had at least two summers? (Actually, come to think of it, when exactly was Sumire first dubbed as Momohana?)

They start the chapter on this bridge, and soon find themselves at Masugata Street. Interestingly, you can see the 今日も元気だ！ banner that’s in the manga on the Street View that was taken in 2022, but if you jump to the 2025 version, it now reads うれしいなあ たのしいなあ instead. Kinda looks like it’s handwritten calligraphy, so they might change it on a regular basis.
Well that was a place to stop. Next week: It wasn’t Kenta, just some guy trying to be nice.
