空の軌跡 // Trails in the Sky ⚔ Story Club・FC Complete

It looks very pretty, I just hope they find a way to make the 3D faces as expressive as the 2d portraits.

No problem at all! Although I won’t be able to finish week 8 for several days, as I’m traveling for the rest of the week. I came so close to finishing the segment before leaving but couldn’t quite make it

Wow, it looks so pretty and crisp! 2025 release date!

Started this game yesterday after they announced the remake! I’m playing on the PSP because that one had the most easily accessible Japanese version.
I’ve wanted to play this for a long time, so I’m excited to see if it’ll live up to my expectations!

Tiny announcement: Trails in the Sky and some other LoH games are on sale on Steam until Sept 30th. Sky FC (the game we’re currently playing in this club) is 50% off!

As others have said, there is no built-in Japanese language option for the Steam version of the game. However, it’s something that you can set up if you’re willing to be a little creative like doing a lil’ google search…

Also, having finished plotting out this chapter and it having the exact same number of weeks as the last, you could guesstimate the club finishing on week 45, which is quicker than my original hunch of more than 52 weeks.

Actually, how are people finding the pace? Personally I’d struggle going faster but I’m behind anyways so I don’t particularly mind picking things up a bit.

Week 17 is here

I tried downloading from DLSite, but couldn’t start the game at all. Windows 11 is too new?

Not sure, I’m on windows 10. If you try right clicking the .exe file, going to properties, then the compatibility tab, you might be able to run it as if you were in an earlier version of windows? There’s also a troubleshooter there.

Some people playing via steam have had trouble launching the game because of some problem loading the config file. You might have the same problem, though I’m not sure if it’s steam-specific. Is there a config.exe in your game’s root file? It should be at the top level along with the game launcher and other important stuff. If you launch config.exe and save your settings to write a new config file, it might fix the issue.

That’s my only idea :pensive:

The folder structure is

1/
  Config.exe
  ed6_win.exe
2/
3/
directx_Jun2010_redist/
SaveFolderUtility/
  SaveFolderUtility.exe
FSetup4.exe

Config.exe and SaveFolderUtility.exe can run, but with wrong encodings (that is, bakemoji). There is a possibility of configuring from both exe’s, but what should I blindly do?..

FSetup4.exe only ask for allow running from this publisher, but do nothing else. ed6_win.exe briefly changes resolution, but then changes back and exits without starting any audio/video.

Starting the game from DLsiteNest gives 4 choices to run, rather than just run.

Anyway, I have just tried Steel Demo from Steam, and thinking it would be nice if I can just ask for refund for this one. (Relatively cheap though, and it might not be possible to refund on this platform.) Nothing bad though, just the genre and not for now.

Hopefully this comparison of the two configs helps?

The only setting I don’t remember why it’s ticked is that one above the disable logo and opening movies box. Bottom left to start the game is the important one.

Some of the settings and checkboxes fall off screen.

Pressing the first ????? button, it runs for 3 seconds or something, then closes itself.
