百物語 for Kindle

There is a site with lots of great material for easy reading at this site:
http://hukumusume.com/douwa/pc/100monogatari/index.html

I recently published a thread where I discussed creating e-books for the Kindle from Aozora and it inspired me to think that we really need massively more beginner level books for the Kindle. I have an intention to help solve that problem for myself and share with the community, so I’m starting to work my way through hukumusume’s site and create mobi files for the stories there.

I would ilke to publish my efforts on my Google drive here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1JK83XpREztZIy-rkT6hXZWC4sLylbU--?usp=sharing

I dropped a mobi file of the first 10 stories in the link above… enjoy! I might not get to creating more until I finish reading the file I created.

Hopefully I’ll keep up with generating these, so I’ll re-post to this thread when I publish more files. I also do hope that the original site is OK with sharing these. The mobi files are fully credited and I preserved hotlinks in the titles to the original site. Please follow the embedded links and visit the site to listen to the audio files.

The only real advantage that I’m offering is the ability to read on the Kindle and look up items in the built in dictionary. As someone who deals with digital stress related eye problems, I don’t like reading on the laptop screen for enjoyment. The Kindle paperwhite is such a nice platform to use for language learning.
