I really loved the mnemonic for the cow radical. I guess it maybe was too dark, offensive or bad vibes overall? Gonna say though: “This looks like a cow see? Look at the picture” for me is never going to be more efective than
"There’s a cross and a gun, with the gun going through the cross. You’re using the cross to stabilize your gun, because you need to shoot a cow for dinner.
You bring your cross because you need to bless the cow once you’ve killed it (and it’s also a good stand for your gun).

I agree. The cow mnemonic was very memorable for me too (the gun+cross thing).
I appreciate all of the work that the WK staff/devs put into WK, but I’m honestly not a fan of the artwork, especially if all of the mnemonics are going to be changed to fit the artwork. I’m already conceiving of a userscript to hide the artwork and restore the original mnemonics.
On second thought, if I did make such a script, all of the original mnemonics would have to be hardcoded into the script. So I’m not sure I would be able to redistribute it without violating copyright… unless I had permission from the copyright holder (WK).
WK staff, what say you? Is it okay if I make a script to restore the original mnemonics?
