I just found it a bit odd that “grilled chicken” isn’t a correct response for this vocabulary - level 18 I may be wrong… maybe there’s a different grilled chicken? Every yakitori I’ve ever eaten was grilled over charcoal Please correct me if this shouldn’t be added as a response Thanks! ---

Yakitori is grilled chicken, but ‘grilled chicken’ isn’t always yakitori. ---

That wouldn’t really explain the listed meanings. I’d say email them if you want to. ---

Best guess I’ve got 😃. If you wanted to talk about some kind of grilled chicken that wasn’t yakitori, you could say 焼いた鳥肉 or something along those lines. ---

Yeah those are all good points. I specifically thought that it should be a correct response for the vocab, although I agree just typing yakitori is probably easier Nice picture also, but like you said that’s not what comes to mind when you say yakitori 👌 ---
