沢 missing kanji meaning

Hey everyone, not sure if this one has been mentioned yet or not but 沢 is missing a kanji meaning.

The Kanji for 沢 is just “Swamp”
Then when you learn the Vocabulary word it says, “The kanji and the word are exactly the same. That means they share meanings as well.”, but there is no prior learning for “Mountain Stream”.

Although there is the meaning, “Swamp” I don’t think it should assume “Mountain Stream” was learned previously.

Thanks for all the hard work!

Ryan

The first time I went through WK, I think the vocab item’s primary meaning was “swamp.” They must have updated it (for some reason, I’m not sure there’s enough of a reason to justify swapping them, but whatever) but they forgot to update the meaning part of the vocab item.

Just email them at hello@wanikani.com

Thanks @Leebo I’ll send them an email about this
