早口 seemingly conflicting rendaku information

Looking back over the 早口 vocabulary item, as it came up in another thread, the rendaku section reads in a way that seems like it could be confusing:

If one of the readings is overwhelmingly more common, I’d just remove the other one.

I agree, but at the same time, I don’t mind it there. There are people that use the second reading, so being familiar with it is always good in my books.

I memorized the word in the rendaku version. But hearing it so many times without rendaku in various media (YouTube, anime, real people, etc) caused me to overwrite it in my head. To be fair, the most uncommon reading could be removed, I don’t think anyone would have problems with that. Or change the text so it’s less conflicting.
