Is there any difference between these 2 kanji for the verb “to catch”? They seem to have the exact same meaning, but just have two kanji for it?

I feel like the nuances are probably cleaner in the context sentences.
I can see that 捕える has sentences that talk about capturing an image, catching a mouse, etc.
I can see that 捉える has sentences that talk about grasping a concept, capturing a heart, etc.
That tallies, since if you look at the kanji 捕, you see that it talks in the mnemonic about physically catching things, whereas the mnemonic for 捉 talk specifically says “not physically”. I’d therefore take it to mean that the former is more to do with the physical act of catching, compared to the later talking about grasping concepts.
