Is there something called “circulatory organ” in English? It sounds overly literal to me. I think it’s the system that is circulatory, not the organ. Wouldn’t “cardiovascular” be better here?
Apparently, yeah there is. Circulatory organs also concerns the one that circulate lymph, so it’s not strictly cardiovascular.

One thing to add, the Japanese equivalent of that Circulatory System article is actually 循環器, which the opening line translates as “Circulation、circulatory organ”, so it’s perhaps just cultural differences in how the circulatory system is thought of.

There is an interesting thing to add in that in both Chinese and Japanese acupuncture traditions, there’s an organ called the “triple burner”, 三焦, which has the curious property of not existing
Well, in this Wikipedia article “circulatory organ” is only used once in the illustration description for an organism that does not have the system; I think even there it should read “lack specialized circulatory system organs”.
That’s a good point, the English “circulatory system” article links to “循環器” in Japanese Wikipedia, so perhaps the 器 is meant as system and not as single organ belonging to this system.
