I used the page numbers that the Kindle app gave me. They seemed consistent, in that changing the font size etc. didn’t change what text was on what page number. If anyone has a paperback I’d be very curious to see if they line up!
kindle virtual pages are usually different from physical editions I think. But not sure if anyone is reading this in a ‘real’ book…
I have a physical copy of this book. Here are the contents pages. The last page of the book is 200.
I have ~1900 pages of reading I’m trying to finish before the EOY (why do I do this to myself? ) so I might join starting in January with a clean slate.
kindle page numbers depend on your individual font size settings. Kindle locations are independent of your settings and are proportional to the number of characters. In this case it is easy to obtain them:

It looks like the kindle app doesn’t use locations at all (I wonder why??).

I wonder how kindle gets the “Page in book”. Amazon Japan shows three editions of the book:
- Kindle: print length 143 pages
- Hardcover: print length 185 pages
- Paperback: print length 200 pages
