I kinda thought you were commenting on the artist’s range of drawing styles.
They’ve certainly got a tsukkomi (Chii) and a boke (Yuu), but I dunno that I’d call it outright manzai.

Uh yep I was >_>
Their relationship is also a bit more complicated than that as we’ll see~
How old are Yuu and Chii anyway? Are they kids? Even the tank looks kinda chibi though. Cutest tank ever
They look maybe… 12?
Never heard this word before. Thanks for the English lesson in our Japanese book club.
It’s a Kettenkrad.
It’s a manga. Assume 12-16 unless otherwise indicated. Even if they’re married with kids.
The age is never revealed, I would guess around 15.
It’s a Kettenkrad! cute indeed!
It’s used so infrequently that I was second-guessing myself that it was even a word. “Banter” is much more common
What? Even in supplementary material? Don’t they always have the full bio with age, star sign, three-sizes and least favourite foods?
Blood type is missing on your list
Kettenkrad
Well then, it really is small. I thought it was just super stylized
ಠ_ಠ unfortunate but true lol
It’s like a tank and a motorcycle had a baby
Oh, indeed. Forgot about that.
As part of a project at uni a few years back, I went through literally every anime production that had been released that year, and sorted them according to the age of the protagonist. Fully two-thirds were school age, and most of the remainder were younger kids or cutesy animals.
That includes the adult-oriented anime, mind.
Also, if they’re girls assume they’re lesbians unless otherwise indicated.
Even though they’re chibi, I think they’re at least later teens and possibly older. We’ll get some chances to see later on that Yuu at least is pretty well developed.
I thought it was the opposite
One of those statements is false
This was so much easier than the first chapter of 時をかける少女! This is going to be fun
The one area where it’s more challenging is that it doesn’t have furigana
This is my first time doing one of these bookclubs, and I think the first chapter went pretty smoothly for me. I only had to look up a handful of words and it took me about 20 minutes. I think that tomorrow I’ll reread it more slowly making sure I’m seeing all the grammar.
