Hmm. I’m not sure about the formatting the table, but as far as monthly goals it could be by book or it could be by the number of days you made your daily goal. I have a Habit tracker app that I use so I can see clearly how often I made my goal or not.

But you’re right, I don’t know how we should go about doing that.

Also should we add our bookmeters under the table? Or put a short link in the table?

I have the second book and I’ll probably get to reading it soon. All the covers are so gorgeous that I might just get the set…

Oh, having something like that would be nice indeed! But at the same time, just updating the page number kinda counts as well. (Except it’s much harder to look back… hmm)

I bought the ebook version, which doesn’t have those really nice covers, or furigana D::, but that’s actully cool to read something without it. I just can’t for now, it’s too much:D And WK teaches kanji pretty quickly, so I’ll start soon.

I also added One piece because I really want to read it ~~again~~ I’ll see how it goes:D

Thoughts

I want to finally get around to do my Genki books. Might do others once finished =) (I have a ton ^^; )

Actually read ALL of my Graded Readers and similar! Won’t have a schedule for them, just check of which I’ve completed.

Other goals, outside the ongoing reading groups, is to go back and finish Kiki. Maybe read the second book too. I’m still hoping Scary Stories could win so I can read those with others, if not I might start cracking them on my own =P

For fun I also want to list what English books I’ve read this year. Not making a schedule, it will be an extra, depends how much time I got left.

I figured I could copy the Yotsuba listing and go from there =^_^=
The listing was very understandable so manage to add it in, including my shorter goal of trying to make it within a month! =D

Since I have a goal of 3 volumes I also added V2 for Volume 2 with the page number I’m on =)

Nope, I use Loop-Habit Tracker on Android. It’s pretty simple but effective. And also guilt trips me every time I see it.

Just downloaded it and it looks nice so far! I like how I can customize the reminder question, and that I can set it to only remind me Mon-Fri for some tasks. Good tip. ^^

I don’t really have a yearly goal (yet), and putting 4 or something (and adjusting it later) seems so low in comparison with everyone and unfitting for a 多読 club
I just want some motivation to finally finish the book I bought back in autumn, I hope I can keep up with the 10 page per day promise

I love changing my habits’ colors every few months. Makes it feel fresher for some reason.

Suggestion: add a ‘last updated’ column to the table. If it’s June and the table says you’ve read 2/24 books, it’s not clear whether you’re reeeeeeally behind or whether you just haven’t updated the table recently.

I thought I’d jump in and say a bit about GJ部 , which is what I’m reading now.

It’s a series of light novels which advertises itself as a 萌え四コマ equivalent in a novel form. The first book is made up 36 chapters of short stories, each exactly four pages long (although there are some multi part ones). I’ve been quite enjoying it as a bit of bedtime reading, as I find I can usually fit in somewhere between 2-3 chapters before nodding off, and the chapters provide nice stopping points.

I guess it’s time to make some goals for myself. I read before bed every night but I’m lucky to get more than a page or two into my current book before starting to fall asleep halfway through each sentence. Other than that I try to read for at least 10-15 minutes throughout the day Mon-Fri. Looking forward to complaining about the books we’re reading separately together.

吸血鬼ハンターＤ started off deceptively easy until the beginning of the second chapter when it got into the background/history of its world. There have been a couple of sections that slowed me down like that so far but hopefully there are fewer the further along I get. My original (somewhat optimistic) goal was to finish it before キノ starts. That’s probably not going to happen now unless I put some extra time into it.
