Late to the party, but wanted to say to anyone who enjoyed the format of 変な家 but was let down by the ending, I strongly recommend 変な家2! I picked it up a few months ago and was obsessively reading it in all of my free time until I finished it. It is linger than the first book, but since it is broken down with different chapters with their own 間取り to solve it is much faster paced, and also sprinkles the storyline throughout instead of having a big explanation at the end that feels like it comes out of nowhere.
