Glad that they finally started to check on what was 伸一郎 up to.
Surprisingly 日下部 and 尚美’s plan to woo 緑 looks like it might just work.
I don’t think it is related to the original case, but with the timing, they might just become caught up in it?
And at least 新田’s “secret” is out, but 尚美 still hasn’t said anything about the proposition.
I think we are the 12月30日 in the evening so things might just start accelerating from there! In the book, only 2 or 3 days have passed and a lot of things have happened already. I think 能勢 will also soon come back with some news from his investigation. And then the final showdown already 
Summary
氏原 is getting on my nerves more and more each section now, I’m hoping he ends up being the murderer or something so I can feel good about not liking him. Although he was annoyingly correct a couple of times here.
The light show was just a bit over the top, not really sure how it being very clearly tied into the hotel will then tie into the reveal that it was done for 緑, seems a little far fetched.
