So the voice recorders are getting shut down; in a way, 尚美 confronting 神谷 led to an interesting conversation; her 'one way of getting rid of her hatred was taken from her’s since the subject is dead by someone else’s hand. 森本 has flown off to look after his son in hospital, taking his belongings with him. These people really don’t seem like they’re planning something sinister, but why are they in the hotel to start with? Who is the person using and sharpening the blades? Over halfway through and still no solution in sight! (That I can see at least.)
Anyway, lots of stuff happening! And 梓 had a sort of redeeming moment in letting 尚美 know that the voice recording was her spiel, at least.
Part 5
The book is throwing us new leads left and right (佐山涼, 小林三郎 with the fake name, ケンタ’s accident), hard to know how many of them are red herrings and how many will be relevant later.
At least we got a big reveal on 梓’s first name!
