“HERO-sensei, it’s been 10 chapters since we almost showed Miyamura’s tatooes or Hori’s at-home style to their friends” - the editor or something, idk

Final panel of page 128, I guess I’m not really up on the etiquette of long hair, but in what way does a bun not suit a school uniform? I mean, I guess the answer to that question is the subject of the rest of the chapter, but I’m still mildly unclear as to why she brings it up in the first place.
しまりんだんごぉぉぉ
I’m chalking this one up to personal perception on Hori’s part.

This manga trope of characters wearing a ginormous gauze dressing for what is, at the very worst, a mild contusion, assuming it’s even still visible the following day… do people in real-world Japan do that too?
I’m not sure I can even pretend to understand what’s going on with this relationship…

This week wraps up another volume! I may be a day late posting the volume 12 thread next week.
Well, this week was kinda introspective.
So, I learnt this week that the original webcomic version Hori-san to Miyamura-kun is, uh… a fair bit darker than this Horimiya version. In the previous chapter of this, the scene where Hori tries to rile up Miyamura by texting that she’s pregnant as a joke… in the webcomic version, it’s not a joke. She’s actually pregnant, and winds up dropping out of school. I’d occasionally considered reading the webcomic one, but every time I get read a bit, the art style just gets too much to handle after a few strips. But now I’m kinda thinking I don’t need to read it…
Well, I am glad we didn’t read that version to be honest. I also looked up some of the art now and it really is rough webcomic from the 2000s haha
