Short stories can be read without reading the main story first, nor does it need to be read sequentially. The pace might also be different, as there are more pages per story. **Where to get the book** : See [DEATH NOTE短編集 | L27??](https://learnnatively.com/book/98add6a3a9/) _Poll ([view on site](https://community.wanikani.com/t/%E3%83%87%E3%82%B9%E3%83%8E%E3%83%BC%E3%83%88-%E3%83%BB-death-note-%E7%9F%AD%E7%B7%A8%E9%9B%86-short-stories/65580/2))_ Also, about the pace. _Poll ([view on site](https://community.wanikani.com/t/%E3%83%87%E3%82%B9%E3%83%8E%E3%83%BC%E3%83%88-%E3%83%BB-death-note-%E7%9F%AD%E7%B7%A8%E9%9B%86-short-stories/65580/2))_ _Poll ([view on site](https://community.wanikani.com/t/%E3%83%87%E3%82%B9%E3%83%8E%E3%83%BC%E3%83%88-%E3%83%BB-death-note-%E7%9F%AD%E7%B7%A8%E9%9B%86-short-stories/65580/2))_ ---

I forgot to post this last week lol but here it is: So I ended up reading the whole aキラ story, so I will put my thoughts on the whole thing here I was liking the story up until the end basically, on which I am a bit conflicted. I feel like Ryuk was a bit more evil here, I think that him going “Yeah, he told me not to talk to him, so guess he dies” is kinda weird. I think him not getting the money due to the new rule would’ve been enough. Even Trump got the benefit of the doubt lol, idk. I did like the plan itself, although it is a bit hard to believe that they would just go so far and pay without any proof but a floating paper and matsuda, but oh well ---
